Established in 1986, A.C. Ampco Ltd has built up many clients and has worked with many designers to produce the best solution to their lighting needs.
Clients include:- Farnborough Air Show, BBC, George Michael, BP, John Patsalides (stained glass artist) and many more.
Collaborations:- Bim Burton & Abi Abdolwahabi.
Both are old friends and both work at The Bartlett Architecture workshop.
Ashley Stuart - founder, owner and director of A.C Ampco, has worked with stained glass artists for over ten years on many glass projects and exhibitions.
Lighting solutions for these projects have produced many interesting results, incorporating the latest technology and tried & tested methods.
A New Direction
In 2003, A.C. Ampco changed direction and moved into lighting sales and opened up a new showroom located in Kew Gardens.
Operating under the name of Ampco Lighting, the new showroom has been received with good success with the local community and surrounding areas.
Not losing the small project feel, Ampco Lighting still works closely with designers and now with the local community to produce the lighting that they require as well as giving value for money.
